2. Review: Very original sound/style. Great vocals and haunting celtic sounds of the uillean pipes remind me of Davey Spillane, with an almost trip hop drum/percussion indian pulse going through it, but the drums have an interesting almost progressive rythmic groove at some places and towards the end of the song start kicking off. An insistant driving bass line with a very sparse piano, which only comes to life at the chorus make the foundation of the song, but there is so much more in it! Sparse strings and various acoustic instruments FILL a large sound scape and envelope you. Listen with headphones on! Ambient music that has substance for all the floating disembodied voices and sounds, there is still an edge. Well that would be the rock then? Love it!
