About Us:
My first band as a frontman was MOXI, followed by other Seattle Metal acts like PALLADIN, FAR CRY, and ROTTWEILER. Also collaborated with Kurdt Vanderhoof (original mainman of METAL CHURCH fame) and was asked to step into the METAL CHURCH camp as their new lead vocalist. Kurdt Vanderhoof eventually formed his own progressive hard-rock band called PRESTO BALLET, and once again I was approached to take over lead vocalist duties. PRESTO BALLET debuted with "Invisible Places" in 2010, followed by an EP called "Love What You've Done With The Place" in 2011. Also in 2011, I was asked to join the Trans-Siberian Orchestra as one of their vocalists. I have also released three solo albums, an EP called "Internal Quest" in 2007, followed by a full length entitled "The Fire Within" (2009), and in late 2011, "Lords Of The Edge" featuring guitar wizards Chris Caffery (Savatage), Stu Marshall (Empires Of Eden) and Michael Wilton (Queensr�che). LOTE was released to much critical acclaim via Rat Pak Records.

Ronny Munroe's "The Fire Within" was created the way a true metal album should be�with nothing but spirit. Frustrated, unable to tour with Metal Church (on hiatus), and forced to relocate from L.A., Ronny found himself back in Seattle. What was originally supposed to be a 2009 festival-headlining tour with Metal Church turned out to be one man, forced to decide between joining society as a "9-to-5'er" or creating a new vision. Ronny chose his path�with "pen in hand" and an indomitable spirit, he sat in his small apartment and drew from "The Fire Within."

Track one, "Far," is an opener like no other, an undeniable force which sets the pace for a redefinition of metal that reminds us why Ronny fronts the legendary band Metal Church. From start to finish this passionate offering takes you on a true metal journey. With a little help from guests like Michael Wilton (Queensryche) on "Sea of Souls" and "What You Choose to Call Hell (I Call Home)," Randy Cooper (THC Texas Hippie Coalition) on "Ride Me, and the brilliant work of MC Guitarist Rick Van Zandt, "The Fire Within" establishes itself as a force to be reckoned with.

In the first video from Ronny Munroe's blistering solo album "The Fire Within", our hero is the subject of some rather interesting, and disturbing behavior modification therapy. The lines between fantasy and reality become rather blurry....
