Country Rock Rockabilly

About Us:
Two brothers, Robert and Paul O'Leary, creating and writing what they feel is a new country sound they are calling "Stone Rockabilly" from their "The Stone Rockabilly Collection" CD ---------- "Future Now" is an up and coming country rock musical group of musicians, songwriters, recording artists, engineer, and producers. Future Now is made up of two brothers that are walking in the footsteps of their musically minded and valued parents that have been involved in creating and producing music since the 60's. Their names are Robert O'Leary, (an attorney practicing in Springfield, Massachusetts), and Paul O'Leary (has a Masters in Education and is finishing up a dissertation which will help to earn him a Doctoral degree in Education in the area of technology and education). They have formed the group Future Now (published through Davies Dawn Music {BMI}). Paul, since birth, also deals with Cystic Fibrosis which is a chronic disease that affects both his respiratory and digestive systems. Currently, Paul is on continuous supplemental oxygen.

THANKS FOR LISTENING

We just want to write, record and perform. It's what we love. We hope that you enjoy our music as much as we enjoyed making it. We are, though, first and foremost songwriters. So, if you hear one of our songs that you think might be good for you and your careers, please contact Davies Dawn Music (BMI) (DDM_Exec@davdawn.com or 413-781-3050) to talk about a non-exclusive license. Best wishes to each and every one of you great fans of IMRadio.

TELL EVERYONE ABOUT IMRadio

Got to thinking. What if each of us independent musicians told our family, friends, fans and acquaintances about IMRadio.com, how besides the main station, it has stations for each of the states individually, 52 countries, and just about every musical genre -- reaching any internet connection around the world. We could tell them in person, on the internet or at small or large venues. Anyone we tell would appreciate the convenience of such good music from independent musicians on their computer. It would be such a good way to help all of us reach even more listeners. With IMRadio, we aren't just waiting at the mercy of some major label to decide whether or not they will let us be heard around the world. There are enough of us that the outreach could be exponential. And, wouldn't it be a great way to say 'thank you' to Paddy and all of the other fine folks who have put IMRadio.com on the world's musical map. They have put in money, time, energy and dedication, and all they have asked of us in return is to upload our music and profile. I am sure that they have great plans to publicize IMRadio and bring it to even more listeners. In the meantime, through, wouldn't it be great if we could all help a little by just taking a little time each day to tell family, friends, fans and acquaintences about IMRadio. It wouldn't cost a dime, just a little time. Yours, in Musical Solidarity, Paul.

Put YOUR Green Screen Creativity to WORK

Provide your own Creative Background for Future Now's ObamaNation Video. Replace the green screen with your own background and earn a chance to have your video creativity used in the final video that will be published on Future Now's profiles on myspace, IMRadio & youtube. You will be credited if your background is chosen. The background must relate to the lyrics of the song in some fashion and must not be restricted or copyprotected source video. Any video submitted becomes the sole property of Davies Dawn Music. Send us the link to your completed background video and we'll choose from the submissions. Check out the ObamaNation video below or on our myspace.com Profile for more details. Paul

IMRadio November 2009 Newsletter

We want to thank the IMRadio Team for their kind remarks about Future Now in the IMRadio November 2009 Newsletter.

when you go to myspace to play a video

If you go to myspace from im to play a video, best to stop the song your hearing on im first, and then if myspace is automatically playing a song, stop it -and then wait for video to load, then play. that way, multiple songs won't play at once. Paul.

Paul, You had asked me if I've ever recorded with Donnie Garvin. The answer to that question is yes, however, I've never recorded any of my original material with Donnie. I did do producing work for a female country singer while Donnie was working the recorder/board. Donnie is a great guy. All of my original recordings on the album Rock And Roll Karma were done at my personal studio (with the exception of tracks Pontyish and Little Girl). Pontyish and Little Girl were recorded on a friend of mine's 4 track analog cassette recorder in 1991 and 1992. It took alot of work to get the audio quality of those two songs to sound "good enough" to be included on the album because the microphones, recording techniques, and the use of 4 track cassette were very limiting factors, but, we did it and it turned out to be good enough to add to the Rock And Roll Karma album. Keep up the great work. Keep making the great music. ... Scott M.

Slow Recovery had a question about setting songs up for karaoke. Once the audio is set (studio mix recorded without lead vocal), the software that we have used is from MicroTechnology at www.mtu.com They have a complete set of software for creation of the lyric & audio sync and the CD-G karaoke disk creation (instructions are included). They also have karaoke software necessary for running a karaoke show. As a side note, although the software claims that any standard CD Burner can be used to burn CD-G disks, I recommend one that is rated for burning CD-G Text graphics as well (look at the site for details). Love it!!! Love it!!! "Take it all off" is probably the favorite, but I really liked "Third World Anthem" rocks!! I love the mixture of Jonathan Richman (Met him here in Denver), Jack Black, but with an awesome classic country voice. I can't truly narrow your sound down and that is impressive!!! Yeah "Third World Anthem" is major tits! "live.local.colorado.cali fornia......" www.mrbetts.com
