We've performed for the ghosts in Shaniko and
25,000 patriotic fans in the city of Independence.
. . . . and so many places in between. We've
released our 4th CD - Lowground - to rave reviews.
We've picked up a few more fun awards and
acknowledgements. We've had a lot of fun. . . . .
. . . and we owe it all to you!
What a wonderful year 2012 has been. As we pause
to count our blessings we want to take a moment to
make sure that you know that our biggest blessing
is the people we meet along our musical journey.
Thank you so much for being a part of it.
BUT WAIT!! The year is isn't over quite yet!!
We've got a busy few weeks ahead and we'd love for
you to be a part of it.
Tune it in KMUZ 88.5 FM in Salem, Oregon (or

8:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 20th. Our friend
Ken Cartwright has been such a huge supporter that
we couldn't think of anyone else we'd rather have
kick off our official CD release interviews.
He'll be chatting with Tim Crosby and Kathy Boyd
and playing a few tunes off "Lowground". . . . and
perhaps even giving away a copy or two in the
spirit of the season!
On Friday, December 20th Kathy Boyd & Phoenix
Rising will be joining Roundhouse for a special
Friday Christmas Concert at the Eastside Bluegrass
Series. NO ONE does Christmas like Roundhouse.
This is going to be fun! For details call

takes place at 660 SE 160th in Portland, Oregon.
We'll wrap up our year Wednesday, December 26th at
the annual Festival of Lights at The Grotto. We
