About Us:
Music is embedded in Carolyn Messina's
DNA. She's been playing piano & guitar
almost her entire life and has been
writing original music and lyrics
since high school.
At 18, Carolyn was in a serious car
accident; her head injuries left her
with little or no memory of her life
before the accident - names, faces,
events were all a blur. Fortunately,
she retained the ability to play
music.
Making a living in marketing
communications, Carolyn's passion for
making music has never waned. Her
original compositions have won
national awards, including her score
for "Women Raise the Roof," a
documentary for Habitat for Humanity
featuring an all-women build in
Paterson, NJ.
In 2009, Carolyn started singing her
original songs at open mics and
coffeehouses in the Metro area and has
already performed at The Bitter End in
NYC and The Stone Pony in Asbury
Park.
He continues to frequent open mics in
NYC & NJ, including The Fine Grind in
Little Falls, NJ; Tasty Coco in
Caldwell. NJ, and Cafe Latte in
Clifton, NJ.
Carolyn just finished recording and
producing her first CD of original
songs which is now available at CD
