About Us:
Gary Alan Adkins was raised in a
military family with three sisters and
was born in LaRochell, France in 1954.
The family moved constantly
throughout the country but were
originally from Georgia. In 1969 ( the
day before Easter) his family suffered
a tragic automobile accident which
left his mother with a permanent brain
injury and his two youngest sisters
deceased. Gary attended Columbus High,
Hardaway High, Jordan High, and
Graduated from Harris County High
School in 1973. In 1974 he was
ordained an Elder in The Church Of
Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.
Throughout the years he tried his hand
at many different fields of work.
Metal Work, Weaver In the mill, Night
Porter at the Holiday Inn etc.
In 1976 he graduated from Columbus
Georgia Technical college in Auto
repair & Auto Collision Repair and
received the Perfect Circle award from
the Dana Corporation. While in the
United States Army he was a heavy
equipment mechanic ( 62B10 ). He was
a Columbus, Georgia Firefighter and
911 Dispatcher for 16 years . His
Major in College was History and he
received an award for Social Science.
He is a professional musician , singer
songwriter and has performed world
wide. Gary is married to the former
Shirley Jewell Lowthorp and they have
two grown children. Gary and Shirley
now reside in Mountain Hill , Georgia
across the street from Chet Atkins
boyhood home. Gary is a Disabled
American Veteran and Retired
Firefighter and still pursues his
passionate love of music. On a
lighter note, he feels fortunate to
have spent ten weekends in the
original Columbus, Georgia Stockade
made famous by the 1927 song " The
Columbus Stockade Blues ". The song
was written and performed by the
singing and guitar- picking duo of
Thomas P. (Tom) Darby of Columbus and
Johnny J. (Jimmie) Tarlton of Phenix
City, Alabama. The stockade is still
in operation.

Best regards.
Hi Gary. I'd love to be
your friend.:) IMRadio is
really cool. Whats
say????
Got your message. That's
Cool. No politics. So,
don't listen to our song
"ObamaNation." Seriously,
though, if you get a
chance, give a listen to
"What You Reap" or "When
Will You Be Free," both
good rockers. Hope all is
well with you. Paul.
Hello Gary!
Thanks a lot for your
message and friendship.
"Elohim" is a Hebrew word
and it is the plural of
the word "Elohah". And it
means "those who came
from the sky".
Take care,
Sakis

Future Now.
TELL EVERY ONE ABOUT
IMRadio -- Got to
thinking. What if each of
us independent musicians
told our family, friends,
fans and acquaintances
about IMRadio.com, how
besides the main station,
it has stations for each
of the states
individually, 52
countries, and just about
every musical genre --
reaching any internet
connection around the
world. We could tell them
in person, on the
internet or at small or
large venues. Anyone we
tell would appreciate the
convenience of such good
music from independent
musicians on their
computer. It would be
such a good way to help
all of us reach even more
listeners. With IMRadio,
we aren't just waiting at
the mercy of some major
label to decide whether
or not they will let us
be heard around the
world. There are enough
of us that the outreach
could be exponential.
And, wouldn't it be a
great way to say 'thank
you' to Paddy and all of
the other fine folks who
have put IMRadio.com on
the world's musical map.
They have put in money,
time, energy and
dedication, and all they
have asked of us in
return is to upload our
music and profile. I am
sure that they have great
plans to publicize
IMRadio and bring it to
even more listeners. In
the meantime, through,
wouldn't it be great if
we could all help a
little by just taking a
little time each day to
tell family, friends,
fans and acquaintances
about IMRadio. It
wouldn't cost a dime,
just a little time.
Yours, in Musical
Solidarity, Paul.
Hate to hear about the
Les Paul so I'm glad ya
