Rock/Indie Rock

About Us:
The Fores Biography The Fores came into the music scene in 2005 and were born out of four students from the same music course at a local college. After a number of jamming sessions they officially became The Fores later that year. Year after year they have evolved and taken their music more and more serious. Currently their music is being listened to in many countries world wide. Taking their influences from the likes of Oasis, The Who, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, and Rod Stewart amongst others The Fores fresh, rock n roll style shines through within a crescendo of guitar riffs and chords supplementing their thought-provoking lyrics. The nucleus of the band has remained for the duration of the bands history. The only change being within the percussion section where founder member Shaun Lee, who, on completion of the performing arts course, went onto university, has been gradually replaced by Carl Brooker, who, in his mid twenties, adds a vital touch of experience to the band. The founder members are Guy Snowden, who shines on bass and vocals adding feeling to the bands lyrics. Responsibility for these lyrics centers around rhythm guitarist Liam Hopkins whose ability to create melodic and rhythmic tones is the backbone of the group. The final piece of this jigsaw is lead guitarist Tom Iliffe. Tom

New Fores Review

We have a Great new review from Beatlebabe check out this Link we are under January's Playlist http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog .view&friendId=516383335&blogId=526040565 This is what they had to say about The Fores.... Someone really needs to sign this band from the West Midlands pronto. Everything on its player is pure, unadulterated and embraces the grit and passion of classic rock - proven chord progressions, powerful vocals and nice incorporation of harmonica that gives it that real southern rock taste. If you dig the influences of arena rock, AC/DC, The Who and Led Zeppelin then I would highly recommend trying to snag these guysí work. (nudge nudge, The Fores, send Beatlebabe your CD!!!)
