Thanks to all the fans for your support and thanks to Bob Locke and Jeff Gentry for joining me, two very talented and good friends. It is always a pleasure to work with.

This year I am putting out another CD, it will be a very ambitious project, a compilation of the work I've done in the last thirty years as well as some new work that just never got finished. And perhaps a nod of thanks to some of the great people I had the chance to play with and meet, Arlo Guthrie, Waylon Jennings, Rick Nelson, Hoyt Axton, Dave Rasmussen, Joe and Jan Edwards, Bruce Osbon, and so many more both as I was performing and working in the studio. I salute our troops and veterans who give so much and get so little. I send a warm thanks to the fans who have bought my records and came to my shows, And, I wish great success to eveyone in the new year.

It has been a joyful year, (the birth of Grandson Dax) and a solemn year (the passing of my father-in-law). It has brought some very good reaction to several of my songs, of which I am grateful and humbled to everyone. I have seen the trucking industry suffer at the hands of bureaucrates, imposing expensive regulations and the demise of health care for truckers in many cases, I have watched the glory days of trucking fade away. I hope for my children that there will be a resurgence of the patriotic and morality in the USA that I grew up with.
