RICK TYRRELL - Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keyboard CURT TYRRELL - Drums, Percussion, Keyboard..... BIO : Rick and Curt Tyrrell have been creating music together for most of their lives. Their first band was Toronto's THE HANG, a hard rock outfit with three singers and a great following in the late 80s and early 90s. They caught the ear of then bass player for THE CULT, Jamie Stewart, who co-produced their 12-song demo. Alas, Canadian labels weren't about to sign a band with three frontmen, no matter their enthusiasm for the material. Next up was a power metal trio called GUT-SONIC, with Rick and Curt continuing their musical telepathy on the busy live circuit until Curt moved out to Canada's west coast and the trio became a five-piece juggernaut that signed to Second Sun Records and toured a couple of times, had a blast, and folded peaceably after a good run into the late 90s. Their CD "Impetus 23" has ironically become a sought after collectors' item for fans of progressive/strange heaviness. Rick and Curt resumed making music together with the current project in late 2004, and it has been an onslaught of collaborative joy and exploration ever since. The advent of sites like IMRADIO has given the power back to musicians who merely want to share what they write, and that ROCKS. Thanks for checking out MUSICBLOOD!
