About Us:
Kenakia's love for music started very
early in her life. By the time she was
able to walk she knew that dancing
would be second nature to her as well
as her love for song. As a teenager
she would enter herself into the local
talent shows in her hometown of
Birmingham, Alabama. Kenakia later
found herself performing regularly at
the former French Quarters nightclub
expressing herself either by song or
dance.In 2004-2005 she worked for
Clear Channal radio station(Power
93.3) a synicated morning show with
Doug Banks. With her tenacious drive
she managed to work as an intern at a
radio station while simutaneously
teaching dance classes at Saba
International Dance School. While at
Power 93.3 due to her accessibility to
many celebrities Kenakia started to
pursue another one of her longtime
passions to write her own demo hip-hop
magazine called ALA. She has
interviewed and met Jibbs, Rich Boy,
Lil Scrappy, Cee-Lo, Pastor Troy,
Crime Mobb, Rasheeda, Master P,
Marques Houston, Gucci Man, Mac
Brezzy, Young Sneed, Young Jeezy, Yung
Joc, Young Dro, Big Kuntry King, Heuy,
Young Bloodz, Lil Boosie, 112, Keisha
Cole, Shawn Cole, X-scape, Ray Jay,
Static Major (R.I.P.), Jarves,
Khao(Grandhustle Beatmaker), Yin-Yang
Twins, and David Banner. In 2006 she
auditioned for American Idol three
times. First in Memphis, Tennesse
which was cancelled due to the very
needed space for Hurricane Katrina
evacuees. However, Kenakia ended up
auditioning in Chicago, North
Carolina, and Birmingham, Al. Not even
dismayed by her three attempts,
Kenakia followed up the next year with
more auditions. In 2007, Kenakia
auditioned for Beyonce's World Wide
Tour in Atlanta, Ga, and Bellarie,
Texas. From there she went to
Hollywood, California to one of the
most sought out dance studio around-
Mellinium Dance studio, where she
auditioned for R/B singer Mario's
Search for Dancers.

TELL EVERY ONE ABOUT
IMRadio -- Got to
thinking. What if each of
us independent musicians
told our family, friends,
fans and acquaintances
about IMRadio.com, how
besides the main station,
it has stations for each
of the states
individually, 52
countries, and just about
every musical genre --
reaching any internet
connection around the
world. We could tell them
in person, on the
internet or at small or
large venues. Anyone we
tell would appreciate the
convenience of such good
music from independent
musicians on their
computer. It would be
such a good way to help
all of us reach even more
listeners. With IMRadio,
we aren't just waiting at
the mercy of some major
label to decide whether
or not they will let us
be heard around the
world. There are enough
of us that the outreach
could be exponential.
And, wouldn't it be a
great way to say 'thank
you' to Paddy and all of
the other fine folks who
have put IMRadio.com on
the world's musical map.
They have put in money,
time, energy and
dedication, and all they
have asked of us in
return is to upload our
music and profile. I am
sure that they have great
plans to publicize
IMRadio and bring it to
even more listeners. In
the meantime, through,
wouldn't it be great if
we could all help a
little by just taking a
little time each day to
tell family, friends,
fans and acquaintances
about IMRadio. It
wouldn't cost a dime,
just a little time.
Yours, in Musical
Solidarity, Paul.
