DAVE PANICO
"The Soaring Saxman"
A smooth jazz, funk sound flavored with spices of
life. Dave Panico, with saxophone in hand, will
move you with a delectable combination of
vibrations traveling through the air. Once the
first note is played, there is no denying the
energy that permeates the room. Dave Panico takes
your senses to a new realm. A distinctive quality
comes from his music and reaches down to the very
core of your soul.
Influenced by jazz greats, Benny Goodman, Pete
Fountain, Big Band sounds of the 1940's like Tommy
Dorsey, along with current influences Warren Hill,
Dave Koz, Richard Elliot, to name just a few, Dave
Panico was left with a deep impression of this
genre at a very young age. Picking up the
Saxophone in high school and never putting it down
again. Adding clarinet and flute to his instrument
ensemble, he began to play out in various bands
and laid down recordings in the Chicago area.
While living in this area, Dave Panico was honored
to have a seat in the orchestra and studio band of
Willow Creek Community Church. It was here that
Dave Panico took his love of ministering and
combined it with his passion for music. "Dave
Panico was a talented, enthusiastic, and treasured
soloist and member of the horn section team at
Willow Creek. He always brought his very best as a
musician to any situation, along with a true
servant's heart for the Church and God's
Kingdom.", states John Carlson, Music Director,
Willow Creek. Taking that passion to the road,
Dave has played in many venues to include various
coffeehouses, churches, outdoor festivals and in
the media of television and radio.
Currently residing in Kansas City, MO, Dave
Panico, along with his wife and three children,
continues to "woo" the audiences with his fine
instrument of brass. Having received Instrumental
Artist of the Year Award at the 2007 Kansas City
Christian Music Awards, along with receiving a
nomination for the acclaimed Instrumental Artist
of the Year Award in 2008 from
IndieHeaven-Momentum Awards, Nashville, TN, Dave
Panico is making a "sound" for himself. CCM
magazine recognized the talents of Dave Panico and
asked for his expertise with a unique article
having him iterate about particular brand
instruments that allow his sound to come out
"smoothly".
With a gift of engaging the audience and a vibe
that is purely contagious, Dave Panico releases
each of his performances early on to allow the
Lord work through them. "I love to let the Holy
Spirit take control while I play." states Dave.
His live performances include the talents of many
other musicians, which create a design consisting
of an extensive range of styles. This mixture is
one that relates to all age groups.
Dave Panico's New Smooth Jazz CD "JoyRid'N" is now
available to the public at large. So if you are
needing a night out on the town, want music or
live entertainment for that special party or
function, or just want to spin the smooth jazz
from Dave Panico's current cd, Joy Rid'N, please
view the music, tour and booking section of the
website. His music and heart will take you to
places you've never been, whether in person or in
the comfort of your own home. Dave Panico's hope
is to share his gifts with you soon!
TELL EVERY ONE ABOUT
IMRadio -- Got to
thinking. What if each of
us independent musicians
told our family, friends,
fans and acquaintances
about IMRadio.com, how
besides the main station,
it has stations for each
of the states
individually, 52
countries, and just about
every musical genre --
reaching any internet
connection around the
world. We could tell them
in person, on the
internet or at small or
large venues. Anyone we
tell would appreciate the
convenience of such good
music from independent
musicians on their
computer. It would be
such a good way to help
all of us reach even more
listeners. With IMRadio,
we aren't just waiting at
the mercy of some major
label to decide whether
or not they will let us
be heard around the
world. There are enough
of us that the outreach
could be exponential.
And, wouldn't it be a
great way to say 'thank
you' to Paddy and all of
the other fine folks who
have put IMRadio.com on
the world's musical map.
They have put in money,
time, energy and
dedication, and all they
have asked of us in
return is to upload our
music and profile. I am
sure that they have great
plans to publicize
IMRadio and bring it to
even more listeners. In
the meantime, through,
wouldn't it be great if
we could all help a
little by just taking a
little time each day to
tell family, friends,
fans and acquaintances
about IMRadio. It
wouldn't cost a dime,
just a little time.
Yours, in Musical
Solidarity, Paul.
"From I had a dream to
keep hope alive, to yes
we can these days we'll
survive, we will thrive,
he won't leave the people
behind - From a Bush
Abomination to
‘ObamaNation,’ (soon)
you can ask you can tell,
take off the mask you can
yell, from a Bush
Abomination we take back
our nation, Obama Nation,
the American Nation...”
Please give a listen to
our new reggae/rock/folk
song "ObamaNation”
[Davies Dawn Music, BMI].
If you like it, spread
the word. Thanks. Peace.
Paul from Future Now.
