About Us:
The punk-inspired threesome Sick Day
September formed in the Beverly Grove
suburb, Port Elizabeth,South Africa in
2006.
Sick Day September is comprised of
Wade McAdam (lead vocals/guitar), Lee
Budler (bass/b-vocals),and Mike C
Liston (drummer).
December 2008, the band spent 2 weeks
in studio recording their 4 track ep
album, “this leads to something…”. The
band chose to record at ex-THE
FINKELSTIENS member, singer/guitarist,
Wang at his recording studio Drop
n’Roll Studios. Two Tracks on the
album,’ fight society’ and ‘three
strikes, you out kid!’, features gang
and backing vocals by Wang.
In January 2009, the band released
“this leads to something…”. Included
on the album is a bonus track,’ red is
my harm’ and also the promo video for
the track. Other track on album is the
emo-punk teen suicide track called
‘memories’.
