A solo-guitar player Serga become a
mature artist not only because he was
brought in the musical environment or
had a wide access to all music info
but also because of his inexhaustible
love to sound and undeniable musical
spirit. Serga tries to apply all his
gained knowledge concerning music to a
guitar which he first took at the age
of 13. Since that time he has never
looked back and continued his journey
through the guitar world. Serga also
took guitar and piano lessons in
different styles in order to qualify
for better understanding of the
smallest nuances. He formed his first
band at the age of 16. Its members
changed from time to time until it
became the 'Serga-Band" with three
permanent members (Serga-leading
guitar; Sergey Kasinets - drums,
vocal; Ondrash Sabo - bass). The band
still exists and performs rock-n-roll
and blues but they are always ready to
try something new. The region the band
live in is rich in different folk
music (Hungarian, Russian, Ukrainian,
even a bit of German) thus they had a
go involving some local colour-scheme
into the compositions of theirs.
Unfortunatelly, this try has lead to
nowhere as they always were and are
deeply in love with Rock-n-roll as it
is. But the idea couldn't let them go
so far a new band was created. 'The
Sun' minds-alike are tempted to show
the world 'a new view on everything
you knew'. The album is finished and
is about to be published. It is all
about alternative rock with strong
ethnic passion. At the same time Serga
participates in one more project
organized by his bossom-friend
'Michael Balog Project'. This is a
successful new-jazz band using
atonality and modality in their music.
This project turn out to be a good
experience in jazz performing.
Disregarding an active creative work
Serga appears to be a member of the
Eurhythmics-company crew where he
successfully reveals his talent as
demonstrator of Roland, Boss, Bugera,
Hammer, BC-Rich, Monster Cable brands.
What is more, the demonstrative group
'Roland V-3 band' was created
altogether with the other members of
the Euthythmics. Its main aim is to
show Ukraine the best of the brands
(mentioned above) by performing some
virtuoso pieces of music. Being always
ready to continue Serga never stops in
this rather avangarde experience
because the fresh ideas, which he is
quite full of, are to be brought to
life.
