Born: August 23 Hometown: Payson, AZ Career highlights: Rick grew up in a music family singing in church & around the family piano. During college he met Buck Owens, a great influence in his life. In addition, Rick's primary influences in music have been Buck, Buddy Alan, Merle Haggard, Alabama, & The Eagles. Rick worked for Buck Owens for almost 10 years. Rick has been on the same stage with Buck Owens, Susan Raye, The Buckaroos, Merle Haggard, Mickey Gilley, Hank Williams Jr., Johnny Cash, The Judds, and many more. Later, as a radio DJ & TV anchor, Rick had the opportunity to meet, visit and interview many more of his heroes. The music of Rick Fletcher is a reflection of his Christian upbringing, his life experiences, and current events.
