About Us:
My name is Douglas Hughes, and I am 1/8th Cherokee. I use the name Douglas Snow Eagle, as it pertains to my Native American heritage and the music I love to play on my Native American Flutes. My primary instrument is guitar, and I've been fortunate to have played country music with some of the biggest recording artists in country music. If you are old enough, you might remember names of stars like: Merle Travis (Guitarist), Johnny Duncan, Sammi Smith, Jeannie Pruitt, Johnny Gimble (Fiddle Player), Shoji Tabuchi (Fiddle Player), Frenchie Burke (Fiddle Player), Buddy Allen, Wanda Jackson, Hank Thompson... and the list goes on. I am also a decorated, disabled Vietnam Veteran. I own & operate a project recording studio called Snow Eagle Productions, where I compose & record music with my Guitar & Native American Flutes. I also play other instruments: Bass Guitar, Harmonica, Banjo, Synthesizer/Keyboard. My recording studio is strictly for the personal enjoyment of myself, friends, and fellow musicians. It is not a business enterprise for profit. I also do not sell my original songs. They are composed for the listening enjoyment of those who like and appreciate them.
