Bill Madison's Information

Lehigh Acres, FL

About Us:
My musical career spans more than 40 years, from the folk music venues of Boston, New York and Montreal during the 1960's, to the ski resorts and honky tonks of Northern New England from the 1970's to the 1990's. I released my first album, Sunday Mornin' Hayride in 1973. Recently that album was re-released by Riverman Records and Yoga Records, and was voted in the top ten retro reissues for 2009. In 1974, I formed Them Fargo Bros. which became New England's premier Country Rock Band and I toured with the band until 1993 when with my family, I relocated to Southwest Florida. I am currently writing and recording in my studio and marketing my CD's through my web site - I am also working on placing my music in films. I just released my first downloadable CD through CDBaby. It's called Roll Of The Dice. 10 of my favorite original songs. Check it out!

September To Remember

In light of the days events, I wanted to share this song that my wife Nancy and I wrote just after 9/11.

Baker Street release

Plan to release my somewhat epic version of Baker Street next week through CDBaby. It's exciting...It came out so powerful and full sounding. Many hours in the mixing, though, but well worth it...

American Legion Album

I have been asked by the American Legion to put together a CD of original Patriotic songs. This CD will be distributed exclusively through the American Legion; and all proceeds from the sales of the CD will go to help veterans and their families who are in need.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays to all and may the New Year be bright with music! My new CD "All She Wanted" is available at my web site - Hope you will order one soon! Thanks and Enjoy!

So sad to hear about the loss of your son. I also hope there is true peace on the otherside.

Our dear son, Paul Shamus O'Leary died late afternoon Tuesday March 29, 2011. He fought to the end but his lungs were failing due to high co2 and his heart just stopped. If you haven't seen or talked with Paul please view his last work "Ever Ending Cycle of Life (Fear of Life) & (Value of Life.)" He put his heart and soul into that song(s) and video(s). Please pray that there is something on the other side and that he is there with loved ones that have passed and that he is no longer suffering to breath. James & Patricia O'Leary (dad and mom)

Yeh, I guess so - I've been told that most of my career, especially when I was on the road with my band, Them Fargo Brothers. Even started to look like Willie back then - don't now, though

Working on my somewhat "epic" cover of Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street. I plan to release it through CD Baby as a downloadable single in early April. Dave Cochran (Older Bros.) laid down an incredible lead guitar part on his custom Strat. It's awesome!

I think of all the online radio sites I've seen and posted music and profile on, IM Radio is by far the best of them all. I feel so proud to be a part of it. I agree with Paul about the solidarity it provides for all of us. I am already spreading the word and will continue to upload my music and improve my profile as we go. So nice to be in association with all of you. Best of everything in all of your careers.

Two sides of musical and literal mortality. "Always in conflict, I am never in balance, I have the fear of life - the value of life, ever ending cycle of life." If you've ever gained strength from living life in the shadows, then check out our new multi genre videos "Ever Ending Cycle Of Life..." (the Fear of Life) & (the Value of Life). Let us know what you think of them [be kind]. Thanks, Paul.

TELL EVERY ONE ABOUT IMRadio -- Got to thinking. What if each of us independent musicians told our family, friends, fans and acquaintances about, how besides the main stations, it has stations for each of the states individually, 75 countries, and just about every musical genre -- reaching any internet connection around the world. We could tell them in person, on the internet or at small or large venues. Anyone we tell would appreciate the convenience of such good music from independent musicians on their computer. It would be such a good way to help all of us reach even more listeners. With IMRadio, we aren't just waiting at the mercy of some major label to decide whether or not they will let us be heard around the world. There are enough of us that the outreach could be exponential. And, wouldn't it be a great way to say 'thank you' to Paddy and all of the other fine folks who have put on the world's musical map. They have put in money, time, energy and dedication, and all they have asked of us in return is to upload our music and profile. I am sure that they have great plans to publicize IMRadio and bring it to even more listeners. In the meantime, though, wouldn't it be great if we could all help a little by just taking a little time each day to tell family, friends, fans and acquaintances about IMRadio. It wouldn't cost a dime, just a little time. Yours, in Musical Solidarity, Paul.

Happy Valentines Day to everyone. I just posted a beautiful love song called Never Like This - lyrics by John B. Cluley and I came up with the music for it. One of my favorite originals.
