Slim Kapone was born sept 27th 1979 on the north side streets of Racine Wisconsin. in his young child life he grew up around the gangs and violence that the streets was filled with from Chicago gangs moving north to wisconsin to gain power. growing up Slim Kapone did many terms of juvenile corrections time as a teen and at age 15 was sent to the wisconsin state prison system. at this time Slim Kapone was only known as kapone to the gangs. after doing 3 years into his term he knew that the life he was on was not going to get him anywhere but death or life in prison. since 12 years old he would freestyle rap over the sounds of n.w.a and many other cali artist. he took that freestyle rap and put it down on paper and made his beats off the prison desk in his cell. rap became his goal and more he walked away from the gang life and calling himself Slim Kapone. released in 2000 Slim Kapone and many friends would do rap shows at house partys and the more people felt him his eye for rap music got bigger. in 2003 Slim Kapone got the chance to meet milwaukee rap artist N.K. also known as the Midwest latin superstar. N.K. already had his foot in the door for the music industry and did songs with artist coo coo cal who is also a milwaukee native. Kapone seen the ways to start his music life from N.K. and being told the rite tools to be an artist. Slim Kapone was introduced to michigan artist Casper from N.K. kapone moved to the state of michigan and started laying his music down with casper and the game was on. now Slim Kapone has made his mark to grow his fans and has did shows. Slim Kapone is labeled by a.l.l.o.u.t records owned by artist N.K. and also labeled naygree ent with artist casper. Slim Kapone plans are to make names for his labels and his partners NK and Casper. sounds to me there's a midwest movement on the rise...
