About Us:
Shakito, was born in Les Cayes, Haiti, as the second to last child for his parents. As far back as Shakito remembers; he has always been influenced by REGGAE Music, with an older sibling whose music of choice was 'REGGAE Music' from their neighbor Jamaica. Albeit that he couldn't understand the lyrics at the time, he was hooked on the 'Riddims.' Shakito was later introduced to 'The Great Bob Marley' and started paying more attention by learning the lyrics and started to sing along... " A Star Was In The Making." Greatly influenced by the Reggae/Dancehall Genre of such artist as the later-on mentioned Buju Banton. Shakito started singing and performing for his family and friends, and they encouraged him to pursue his dreams of becoming a Reggae Singer! Shakito started composing lyrics; and he wrote his first song... "Adriana. Shakito credits some of his earlier influences as; Bob Marley, Eric Donalson, Alpha Blondy, Beenie Man and Anthony B. In 1995, Shakito was introduced to the music of Buju Banton, and today he counts Buju Banton as his Greatest influence. Shakito currently is working with a management team.
