About Us:
David Sensat and Parker Townsend have
been playing music for over 40 years
20 years in Austin TX playing a
variety of music. Influences include
Eric Clapton, the Beatles, Jimi
Hendrix, B.B. King, Albert King,
Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, Leslie
West and Steely Dan. This album
contains a mixture of styles including
blues-rock, southern rock,
instrumental songs and songs with
upbeat, soulful and moody lyrics. Each
song on this album elicits a different
mood from the listener. David Sensat
especially likes to showcase his
blues-based leads in his instrumental
songs. Parker Townsend enjoys writing
thought provoking lyrics and playing
accoustic guitar, keyboards and tasty
drum beats in his songs. David and
Parker met while playing together in
the Jimi Lee band in 2006 here in
Austin TX. Parker was talking to David
about recording a song he had wrote
called Apathy in his home studio and
after that they decided to record a
whole album together. With all the
different styles there should be
something to appeal to just about
everyone. MP3s available for download
