About Us:
The Italian MALLORY SWITCH’S project
was born in the 2006
The first sensual and corrosive song
came immediately and spontaneously as
per the necessity to transmit messages
to the people by their own music.
Thanks also to the past MALLORY
SWITCH’S music experience, the sound
has been definite “sensual and
corrosive sound for restless ears and
minds”.
During the 2007 the GB SOUND agency
took the control of the band,
producing the first Ep “ MALLORY
SWITCH” which contains 4 songs and a
video “Hypocrisymn” directed by
Gianluca Zenone.
The debut cd received, almost
immediately, a number of flattering
magazine’s reviews (ROCKSOUND MAG.,
ROCKSTAR MAG, DARKROOM MAG, ROCK METAL
BANDS MAG., MUSICAL NEWS….). With the
“Hypocrisymn” video Mallory Switch as
also won some important Italian video
contest (TORINO HORROR FEST 2008,
M.E.I. – P.I.V.I., BIZZARRO FILM
FESTIVAL,….).
The 2009 has seen Mallory Switch
produced together with the GB SOUND a
new track called “Freeek!”.
“Freeek!” means for Mallory Switch the
different way they’re approaching to
the Italian music. The different is to
be Italian but to sing in English, in
the use of sonorities completely
different from the classical Italian
melodies. They’re not denying their
origins but pointing out a diversity
in the language which can even sound
strange but that Mallory Switch found
great: strange but great. So that they
are free to play a different music and
for this they’re considering freak.
June 2009 – Mallory Switch realized
the new video “EVOLUTION MACHINE”
starring the world moto freestyle
champion ALVARO DAL FARRA.
The subsequent and natural instinct
is to improve day by day their
artistic vein, by getting better and
better the MALLORY’S thoughts.
Each of Mallory’s Thoughts are music
for their minds. MALLORY SWITCH is
also a good project that must be see
alive.
Don’t miss them, maybe you will find
Mallory around you!!!!

Hey, are you folks with
the Federation or the
Borg? Or perhaps in some
hybrid form of
evolutionary mutant
crossover between
galaxies?
Very exciting stuff. Very

CD REVIEW BY LEON
MUSTON(THE HERALD) IT’S
always great to hear one
of Port Elizabeth’s
leading live acts finally
getting its sound down on
disc and fans of Sick Day
September will be
thrilled with the group’s
debut independent
four-track EP, This Leads
to Something. Excellently
produced by Finkelstiens
and Don’t Panic frontman
Bryan McLagan, the disc
starts off with the
rather chaotic track
Fight Society – a mixture
of punk rock, screamo
metal and a drinking
song. Second track
Memories is a punk pop
love song which may
remind listeners of
Tweak, while the very
catchy Three Strikes You
Out Kid is much faster
and appears to be
influenced by The
Offspring. The EP ends
off with the somewhat
frenetic Red is My Harm
which probably gets the
fans going at shows, but
doesn’t sound like it
would work on radio.
However overall the group
shows a good deal of
promise and is worth
watching out for in the
near future.
